Legendary for its wine, gourmet food and outstanding hospitality experiences, Napa is also home to our client’s luxury appliance experience center. As our new Event Manager, you'll be placed in the center of it all!

In this role, you will split time between leading the pre-planning logistics for guests and the brand immersion experiences and events for select retail, design and building trade customers, all held at our client’s state of the art "Experience & Design Center". The Center is a 23,000 sq. ft. space featuring showrooms, a conference center, a fully functional teaching kitchen, an AI "lifestyle zone," a tasting room, and VIP dining room!

While your office will be located in the Napa Design Center, this role will also work closely with the Advantage team in Stamford, CT. Working side-by-side with our client every day, you will be the face of Advantage for all events taking place at the facility, and will facilitate communications between the clients, our local Napa vendors, and the Stamford-based Account Team.

You will assist with all aspects related to the daily event operations of the facility. This entails coordinating ongoing training programs, designer, trade & VIP events, and customer meetings. You’ll assist guests with on-site logistics and travel planning, handle details with local vendors and hotels, coordinate program agendas, handle overall facility calendar, and make sure all necessary details are in place.

Ideally, you will have prior event and hospitality experience and client management experience. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a passion for executing top-notch events is what we're looking for.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support client Marketing Manager and Program Concierge in executing ongoing on-site and off-site events & programming
  • Lead logistics involved with all elements of ongoing events at Experience & Design Center: meeting schedules, menus, decor/signage, premiums, and entertainment
  • Lead all aspects of ongoing travel and transportation booking and hotel rooming lists for program attendees
  • Provide guest and program updates to clients and actively troubleshoot program challenges
  • Serve as guest point of contact during on-site during events, to assist with any travel, transportation and hotel adjustments
  • Staff dinners, receptions and facility tours as needed
  • Serve as vendor point person for program execution and billing, meeting regularly with hotel and transportation contacts for program status updates
  • Coordinate some facility administrative needs as instructed by client team
  • Provide regular updates to Stamford, CT based Account Team and lead communications between on-site clients and Advantage team
  • Work hand-in-hand with Stamford-based Account Executive to coordinate all guest travel and logistical needs
  • Assist Account Team is ongoing program reporting, including weekly and monthly budget reviews and yearly business reviews and goal measurement

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ year(s) experience in related field
  • Previous experience and knowledge of hospitality/event management
  • Located in, or willing to relocate to, Napa, CA
  • Desire to grow in the event planning/management industry
  • Very organized and attentive to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, and execute workload efficiently
  • Successful track record with client management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work weekends/holidays as needed
  • Strong desire to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative, and solve problems independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Technology and Electronics industry a plus
