Exciting Opportunity for a Histotechnologist!

Job Description:

- Shift: Night 5x8-Hour (16:00 - 00:30)
- Schedule: Sunday - Thursday (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM)
- Start Date: ASAP
- First-Time Traveler: Yes (Strong experience required)
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in histology with hospital experience
- Ratios: 1:1

Requirements:

- License: CA state license preferred; pending license accepted
- RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
- Special Skills:
- Proficient in grossing, embedding, microtomy
- Experience with IHC and special stains
- Knowledge of routine hospital anatomical pathology specimens
- Skills in preparing cytology specimens (thin prep, cell block, cytospin)

Facility Details:

- Type of Facility: Acute Care Facility
- Interdisciplinary Support: Includes phlebotomy and radiology

Additional Information:

- Must commit to working three of the five major holidays
- Required to float between nearby sister facilities
- References needed: Two references covering one year within the last three years
