Volt has an immediate opening for a Forklift/Warehouse Associate for a local food distribution organization in Santa Rosa, CA.As a Forklift/Warehouse Associate, you will:Loading and unloading trucksReceiving inventoryAccurately picking customer orders using RF ScannerReplenishing picking lanes with finished goods for quick accessibilityAccurately building, shrink wrapping, stickering, and staging palletsWeighing and documenting pallets, orders, and inventoryMaintaining a clean and organized warehouseReporting any damage or repairs needed to major equipment like pallet jack, forklift, etc.Ability to work overtimePreferred Skills & Qualifications:2+ year of warehouse experience, Forklift certification a plusElectric and stand-up forklifts (will train on stand-up)Manual and electric pallet jacksRF Scanner experienceAbility to lift 50lbs, carry, push, pull, kneel, twist, stoop, among other movementsAbility to think on your feet and work in a fast-paced environmentHard working and team orientedAbility to work effectively with minimal supervisionMust feel comfortable in a warehouse environment including noise and food smells with varying temperature including a walk/drive-in refrigeration roomThis is a Full-time, temp to hire opportunity.Schedule: Monday-Friday – start time varies – 5am or 6amPay Rate: $23/hr.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
