Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Santa Rosa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access, and providing directions to patients and visitors.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
