Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We're seeking reliable and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for a four-week contracted opportunity in Santa Rosa, CA, with potential for extension.

Position Highlights

Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Setting: Residential Group Homes
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 40 hours per week

Shifts Available:

• AM: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• PM: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• NOC: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Role Focus

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Supervise and support individuals in a residential setting
• Provide active programming and engagement throughout shifts
• Follow and document individualized care plans
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
• Report any concerns in accordance with mandated reporter guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• DSP 1 and DSP 2 Certifications - Required
• DSP or related caregiving/behavioral health experience - Required
• CNA certification - Preferred
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
• Reliable, flexible, and able to pick up shifts as needed

Additional Requirements

• Must meet all federal, state, and facility requirements
• Understanding of patient/resident confidentiality and HIPAA standards
• Must be at least 18 years of age
