Job Details

Noon Duty - M-F 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Under supervision of certificated personnel, serves as playground and/or cafeteria supervisor. Essential duties and responsibilities: Observes and, when necessary, directs students on playground during lunch recess. Facilitates activities of students for purpose of safety and accident prevention. In cafeteria, assists in maintaining orderly procedures in the serving, seating, care of food, and general conduct of students participating in lunch program. Performs other related duties in the school as may be required by the principal.

Knowledge and abilities: Knowledge of pertinent school district rules and regulations. Ability to work with children. Ability to gain respect of students Ability to reprimand tactfully when necessary. Ability to follow written and oral directions of supervisor. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships.

Education and experiences: Any combination equivalent to completion of high school. Experience working with children desirable. Required licenses/certificates: Standard First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Criminal Justice/Fingerprint clearance Mandated Reporter – required annually Verification of TB clearance Pay Range: 5
