Do you have a passion for helping students reach their full potential? ???? We're seeking Special Education Teachers to join a supportive elementary school team in Santa Rosa, CA for the upcoming school year!

?? Location: Santa Rosa, CA

????? Position: Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate)

?? Start Date: August 17, 2026

? Schedule: 35 hours/week

?? Contract Length: 10 Months

?? Pay: Up to $45/hour

?? Openings: 2

What You'll Do:

? Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary students

? Develop and implement IEPs

? Conduct assessments and track student progress

? Collaborate with general education staff and families

? Provide one-on-one and classroom support in an inclusion setting

Requirements:

?? Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential

?? Bachelor's degree preferred

?? Previous teaching experience preferred

?? Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred

• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations

• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred

• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred

• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred

• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred

• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
