Position: P/T Classroom Aide and Extended Care

Compensation: $20-$21 per hour

Position open: Until filled, hiring for the 2026-27 school year

Job Description

The Village Charter School is looking for Classroom Teacher's Assistant (approx. 5.5 hours/day). This position includes the option of additional weekly hours working as Extended Care staff.

Qualifications

VCS is looking for an individual who:

• is a self-starter and can take initiative
• likes being in a supportive role
• can work well with others
• has strong organizational skills
• can maintain healthy emotional and physical boundaries
• is comfortable working with and can interact with, supervise, and instruct small groups of students in 1st through 5th grade
• has academic strengths or talents that would be an asset in the classroom
• Bilingual desired, but not required.
