Overview Marin Country Club is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Mechanic. This position is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of hand tools and strong mechanical aptitude who is looking to develop skills in the turf equipment maintenance at a top-level facility. Working alongside an experienced Head Mechanic, the Assistant Mechanic will be exposed to all aspects of maintaining and repairing golf course equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, sprayers, tractors, and small engines. Our goal is to develop your mechanical knowledge, diagnostic skills, and preventative maintenance practices in a professional shop environment.Pay $25 - $30Responsibilities Assisting with routine maintenance and repair of golf course equipmentAssisting with reel and bed knife grinding and cutting unit set upDaily equipment and cutting unit checks for next day useUsing hand tools safely and correctlyPerforming oil changes, blade maintenance, lubrication, and inspectionAssisting with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical issues under supervisionMaintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environmentSupporting daily equipment readiness for course operationAbility to help with maintenance of the golf course in the morning when extra help is needed (ex.
