Phlebotomist at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Santa Rosa, CAJob OverviewThis full‑time position involves 8‑hour evening shifts and the accurate identification of patients, collection of high‑quality blood specimens from inpatients, and timely delivery of samples to the laboratory.Shift & LocationFull timeEvening shift (8 hours)Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, 1165 Montgomery Dr, Santa Rosa, CAResponsibilitiesAccurately identify patients and verify patient information.Collect blood specimens from inpatients using proper phlebotomy techniques.Maintain specimen integrity and ensure timely delivery to the laboratory.Follow all safety and infection control procedures.Document all specimen collection and related activities in the system.Required QualificationsCompletion of a California State approved School of Phlebotomy program or equivalent coursework.Continuing Education Units – 6 units every 2 years.California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or II license upon hire.Preferred QualificationsLaboratory, medical office, or hospital experience in phlebotomy.Benefits401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with employer matchingHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability insurancePaid parental leave, vacations, holidays, and health‑issue time offVoluntary benefits and well‑being resourcesEqual Opportunity StatementProvidence is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
