What will I do as a Public Health Registrar?
Requirements to qualify: Three years' experience requiring the use of the contents of medical records or medical reports, one year of which must have been in connection with birth or death certificates or records of diseases reportable in the State of California. License: A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to use an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions. Physical Class: Physical Class II - Light: This class includes administrative and clerical positions requiring light physical effort that may include occasional light lifting to a 10-pound limit and some bending, stooping, or squatting. Considerable ambulation may be involved. Required experience must be fully met at the time of filing, and clearly indicated on the application. Credit will be given to applicants who possess the following desirable qualification: Additional experience beyond the requirements in connection with birth or death certificates or records of diseases reportable in the State of California.
