Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team.This is a great chance for safety-conscious individuals who are pleasant, outgoing, and want to excel in a warehouse environment.Position Overview This is a Temporary-Part Time position to start and supports a three-shift rotation.Shifts Night Shift: 11pm – 7amDay Shift: 7am – 3pmAfternoon Shift: 3pm – 11pmPay $27.17 per hour.Major Responsibilities Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)Loads and unloads trailersOpens and closes dock doorsMaintain a clean and safe work areaMove materials within the warehouseComplies with all safety requirementsElectronically scan products using a warehouse management systemUpdate existing recordsReview data for errors or inconsistenciesCommunicate with internal departments for clarificationUse basic math skillsComplete quality control checksOther projects and tasks as assigned by supervisorQualifications At least 1 year of warehouse experience with a sit-down, counterbalance forkliftMaterial-handling equipment experience preferred (using hand/power tools and hand truck)High school diploma or equivalent requiredProficient reading skills and ability to follow directions requiredAbility to work independently and provide customer service; multi-tasking, organizational, flexible, and time management skills requiredBasic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required (where applicable by location)Flexible to work overtime preferredAbility to work in non-climate controlled conditions requiredRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the jobWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule and location, complete a Penske employment application, and submit to reference verification (including past employment and education) requiredCounterbalance truck experience required; candidate must be able to pass an equipment/forklift testPhysical Requirements Must remember and understand instructions, guidelines or other informationMust be able to see and verbally communicate; specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focusMust be able to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, medical codes or alarms)While performing duties, must move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach with hands and armsMust regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg)Penske is committed to the principle of equity in employment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
