Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Sterile Processing Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Sterile Processing Technician – Santa Rosa, CA 95405 Start Date: July 13, 2026 Location: Santa Rosa, California Schedule: Night shift, Monday-Friday with rotating weekends, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM. On-call and weekend coverage required (2 weekends every 6-week schedule). Daily census: 20-30. Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Highlights: 277-bed acute care hospital with 15 operating rooms and Trauma Level I experience Advanced equipment including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Steris V-Pro low temp sterilization, and automated endoscope reprocessors Comprehensive scope reprocessing including bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, and ERCP scopes Epic charting system with 8-hour orientation Opportunity to work independently in ambulatory surgery center environment Scrubs provided by facility Requirements: Valid California license in hand (no pending licenses accepted) Minimum 2 years sterile processing experience; 4 years preferred Previous travel experience required; seasoned travelers preferred Certifications: BLS, CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA, CFER (copies required at submission) High-level disinfection (HLD) experience required Extensive endoscope reprocessing experience required (hardstop) Proficiency with vendor trays, robotic equipment cleaning, ultrasonic equipment, and Steris mechanical washers Epic charting experience required Must comply with AAMI guidelines and manufacturer recommendations Ability to float between sister facilities and work independently in ASC setting 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Why Join Us?
