Exciting Outpatient Physical Therapy Opportunity Job Description: - Join a dynamic team in our outpatient setting focused on therapy and rehabilitation. - Work a Day 5x8-Hour shift from 09:30 to 17:30. - No block schedules, allowing for flexibility in your day. - Ideally, you have at least 1 year of experience in outpatient PT; however, less than 1 year may be considered. - Utilize preferred charting system, Epic, for seamless documentation. - No travel experience is required. - Preferred certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) Skills and Expertise: - Experience in: - Acute Care* - Aquatic Therapy* - Outpatient Clinic - Orthopedics - Treat a variety of conditions including: - Ankle sprains, Elbow injuries, Hip/Knee injuries, Low back pain, Sciatica, and more. - Conduct thorough assessments: - AROM/AAROM/PROM, Pain assessment, Assistive Devices, and more. - Billing practice including: - Commercial and Medicare B. - Proficient in using equipment such as: - Crutches, Gait belt, Rolling Walker, Standard Walker, etc. - Apply modalities like: - Cryotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Moist Heat, TENS. - Document effectively: - Discharge summaries, Plan of Care, Goals, and Time Management. Patient Population: - Serve a diverse demographic including: - Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics. - Manage a daily census of 10-12 patients scheduled, typically seeing 8-11. Support & Collaboration: - Interdisciplinary support through: - Interpretation Services, Unit Secretary, and more. - Engage in special procedures related to: - General hospital outpatient physical therapy, including post-operative care. Additional Information: - Orientation hours: 24. - Float required to acute inpatient side as needed. - Spanish speaking preferred but not required. - The work schedule includes Monday to Saturday.
