Aaction Rents is looking for an experienced Equipment Technician who can hit the ground running and work independently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety-supporting multiple store locations, troubleshooting in the field, and taking ownership of repairs from start to finish.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of rental equipment both in-shop and at customer job sites
• Travel between store locations and job sites in a safe, timely, and professional manner
• Work independently while supporting overall shop and store operations as needed
• Communicate clearly with Service Coordinators, store teams, and customers on job status and timelines
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate repair logs
• Operate and test equipment to ensure safe and proper functionality
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
• Stay current with ongoing training and development (minimum 20 hours annually)

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
• Clean California Driver's License
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to shift priorities quickly
• Solid communication and customer service skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Frequent standing, lifting, climbing, and working on uneven terrain
