Mead & Hunt is looking for a talented, collaborative, and innovative problem-solver who wants to build a dynamic career in aviation planning with a nationally recognized company. This position will lead aviation planning projects in Mead & Hunt's nationwide Aviation planning practice. This exciting opportunity allows for professional growth and leadership through challenging and rewarding projects for a variety of aviation related clients and services.Responsibilities include:* Leading complex projects and teams* Managing client and team relationships* Seeking marketing opportunities to attract clients and obtain work* Administering contracts and profitability of assigned projects* Preparing airport planning documents and technical studies* Facilitating client, stakeholder and public meetings* Coordinating with the Federal Aviation Administration and other government agenciesTravel will be required. A valid driver's license is required.The successful candidate will have all of the following:* A bachelor's degree (or higher) in aviation planning, environmental planning, sustainability planning, transportation planning, urban planning, or a related field from an accredited college or university* -AND-* A minimum of ten (10) years of experienceThe ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:* Planning experience at airports of multiple market sizes, including medium and large markets* Serving as a project manager for complex projects, including preparing and monitoring budgets, including overall responsibility for the profitability of assigned projects.* Performing lead functions with client contacts and communications pertaining to specific projects* Leading research, analysis, and creation of aviation planning documents such as: master plans, terminal area plans, aviation system plans, strategic plans, economic impact studies, Part 150 noise compatibility studies, aviation sustainability plans, and/or environmental assessments* Technical expertise in airfield/airside, landside, or terminal planning and programming* Leading business development pursuits and project interviews* Simulation modeling for aircraft operations, airfield vehicle movements, and/or airline passengers* Mentorship/leadership of project teams and junior planning staff* Managing client and public communications* In-depth knowledge of FAA guidance and regulations* Experience working with clients and project stakeholders* Active industry involvement* AICP, AIA, AAAE, CM, PE or other relevant certificationIf you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com/careers.Mead & Hunt proudly offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, parental leave, a 401K plan with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, and an employee assistance program.Mead & Hunt will not sponsor a visa (H-1B, etc.) for this position.Salary Range: $117,000 - $156,000 annually; actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set, or location.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.#LI-CA1
