Kelly Services in partnership with Nissan is currently seeking high skilled individuals to fill Production Technician openings at the Nissan manufacturing plant located in Canton, MS.Job DescriptionKelly Services is currently seeking an Assembler for one of our top clients in Santa Rosa, CA.As an Assembler placed with Kelly Services, you will be responsible for supporting the Extrusion department by supplying clean tooling to the extrusion lines and partaking in the disassembly and reassembly of extruders.This position starts between 14.50$/hour. The hours are 3PM-11:30PM.Additional Job Responsibilities Include:Follow all Process Instructions, Specification Boards, SOP's, DOP's, Medtronic's Quality Policy and other related documentsIdentify/communicate equipment/setup issues and provide status updates to Engineers/Supervisor/PeersPrepare resins per Mix Resin procedureCalibrate transducers and start purging the extruderMaintain 5s and utilize all lean toolsMachine breakdowns and set upsTooling set-upSelect correct filters for runsInspect damaged pin and diesRemove damaged tooling from inventoryAssemble bullets and hypo‑tubes to make extruder pinsKeep pin and die cart current with the availability boardInventory control of tools and equipmentClean and polish tooling, screws and extruder partsInspect extruder parts for wearAssure the equipment is being handled properly at all timesUnderstand and follow Medtronic's department procedures and quality policiesMaintain an expected level of attendance, Medtronic Traits, and teamworkJob Requirements:2+ year of medical device manufacturing experience preferred2+ year of mechanical experience preferred2+ years of college or trade school preferredGood organizational skillsAttention to detailAbility to communicate effectively with peers and supervisorBasic knowledge of computersLegible handwritingAbility to work with small componentsAbility to perform repetitive workFamiliarity with manufacturing safety and ergonomicsAbility to operate independently with minimal supervisionAdditional InformationAll your information is kept confidential as per EEO standards.Why is this a greatopportunity?
