Position OverviewSpeech Language Pathologist in Speech Pathology Unit at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. Our hospital's commitment to excellence is also demonstrated through our receipt of Women's Choice award in comprehensive breast care for 10 years in a row.ResponsibilitiesThe practice of speech-language pathology shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, communication, and demonstration of techniques addressing speech language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to meet the needs of patients and their families with supervisory guidance provided as needed.Required QualificationsMaster's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.Completion of, or eligibility for, Clinical Fellowship Year.Coursework/Training: Speech-Language Pathology Area of Specialization - Completion of competencies for:Therapeutic feedings,Patient transfers, andAssistance with Modified Barium Swallow studies.Upon hire: California Speech Language Pathologist LicenseUpon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart AssociationPreferred QualificationsCoursework/Training: Educated or trained in dysphagia assessment and management.1 year acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience.Benefits and CompensationWage range: $55.68 - $83.79 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
