Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Mechanic (310S/310T) to join our automotive manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Ontario 310 license and bring strong hands‑on mechanical experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and production support. This role involves working in a rapid‑paced manufacturing environment where your expertise ensures the safety, performance, and reliability of vehicles and equipment on the production line. Prior dealership or automotive manufacturing experience is considered a strong asset, along with proficiency in welding, schematics, and mechanical assembly. The position requires strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams, engineers, and supervisors.Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of automotive and mechanical issues in a manufacturing/production environment.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicles, machinery, and production equipment.Conduct welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly work as required.Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.Support production line operations by minimizing downtime through efficient repairs.Follow all workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and compliance regulations.Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, parts used, and service work completed.Perform vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to resolve mechanical issues.Provide clear communication regarding repairs, issues, and maintenance needs.Skills & Qualifications Valid Ontario 310S or 310T Licensed Mechanic certification (required).Proven experience as a licensed mechanic, preferably in automotive dealership or manufacturing environments.Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, components, and diagnostics.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.Experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and mechanical assembly.Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.Good communication skills and ability to work in a team‑based environment.Knowledge of workplace safety procedures in industrial or manufacturing settings.#J-18808-Ljbffr
