A rapidly growing, venture-backed AI infrastructure company is seeking a highly technical Security Software Engineer to build and own security from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to join a founding-level engineering team working at the intersection of security, infrastructure, and artificial intelligence. The company partners with leading AI organizations to support large-scale data creation, model development, and agentic workflows, requiring innovative approaches to securing highly sensitive systems and data.

What You'll Do

🔒 Design and implement security infrastructure across AWS and GCP environments

⚙️ Build automated systems for threat detection, incident response, and security operations

🤖 Secure AI-specific data pipelines, model interaction layers, and training workflows

🚀 Integrate security controls directly into engineering workflows without slowing development velocity

🏗️ Contribute to core infrastructure and platform engineering initiatives beyond security

📋 Establish and execute the company's security roadmap while helping define long-term security strategy

What We're Looking For

✅ 4–7 years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related fields

✅ Strong software engineering skills with Python, Go, and/or TypeScript

✅ Experience securing cloud-native environments in AWS and/or GCP

✅ A builder's mindset—someone who develops security systems and automation rather than relying solely on commercial tools

✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with significant ownership and autonomy
