Prepares food for patients, customers and catered events in a consistent and efficient manner by utilizing food production standards and food safety procedures. Cleans, dish washes, and sanitizes dishware and equipment. Prepares and serves food items for customers and catering. Assists in overseeing the kitchen and facility operations. Provides products for customers and communicates needs to department head.

Variable days of the week - 5 x 8s - Line cooking/short order cooking. "Room Service Model"Two Shifts - AM 5:00am - 1:30pm; PM 10:30am to 7:00pm - Crossed Trained3-5 years experience. Hospital experience preferredHS diploma preferred, Servsafe or food handler certificate preferred, understanding of kitchen culture and procedures, Bilingual is a plus (English and Spanish), sanitation and safety, rule oriented, teamwork.Education and Work Experience:High School Education/GED or equivalent: PreferredAssociate?s/Technical Degree in culinary arts or equivalent combination of education/related experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:SERV Safe certification or equivalent: Preferred
