Step into the role behind San Francisco's most iconic events. We are seeking a high‑volume Catering Kitchen Manager to lead commissary and off‑site operations for cultural premieres, Fortune 500 galas, stadium activations, and large‑scale festivals across the Bay Area.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee commissary prep and off‑site kitchen set‑ups for high‑volume events.
  • Direct kitchen staff and logistics teams to ensure seamless transport, assembly, service, and teardown.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and labor standards.
  • Control inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships.
  • Monitor labor and food costs to meet budget goals.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff.
  • Step in hands‑on when needed — from line cooking to full kitchen oversight.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years hospitality experience plus 3+ years kitchen management in large‑volume catering.
  • Proven ability to run off‑site kitchens at scale (stadiums, convention centers, cultural venues, festivals).
  • Certified Food Safety Manager (CA) and compliance expertise.
  • Strong organizational, cost control, and vendor management skills.
  • Positive leadership with clear communication; Spanish or Mandarin a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules.
  • Able to commute within 50 miles of San Francisco.

Package

  • Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per annum
  • Benefits: Health, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off
  • Location: San Francisco, CA (95% on‑site, 5% remote)
