Innovative Dining Group (IDG) is hiring hosts at Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley, a newly reimagined lifestyle hotel as part of Curio Collection by Hilton. IDG has been selected to oversee culinary and FB programs at the resort, creating an exciting opportunity to join an established, design-driven restaurant group as we expand into resort dining in Northern California. Join us at our hiring fair and be part of building a standout food-and-beverage experience in wine country./ppA hosts duties primarily focus on ensuring that guests have a positive experience as soon as they walk through the door. Responsibilities include answering the phone, making reservations, greeting and seating guests, and answering questions about menu items and other general inquiries. Other specific hosting duties may include assisting management with administrative tasks and setting tables for guests./ph3Your Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliWarmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival and explain our restaurant concept/liliSeat parties based on guest preferences and balance customer flow in server sections/liliUpon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their servers name/liliWhen immediate seating is limited, record guest names and the number of people in the party/liliProvide guests with estimated waiting time and always maintain a professional, courteous attitude when confronted with hostile, impatient or irate guests/liliAccommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible/liliMaintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand/liliInspect table for proper presentation and completeness/liliClean menus of food and stains/liliBe available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and an efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Restaurant Manager or immediate supervisor/liliCreate a welcoming environment for guests by greeting them, thanking them, and saying good-bye/liliDemonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure/liliEmbody and deliver on exceptional service and hospitality/li/ulpRequirements/ppWhat we are looking for:/pulli2 years of previous and relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant./liliAbility to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure/liliStrong communication skills, both with guests and teammates/liliA positive, upbeat attitude with a strong work ethic/liliFlexible availability to work days, nights, weekends were looking for team players who can adapt to the flow of the restaurant/liliA valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate (must have upon hire)/liliAbility to work standing for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and manage a physically demanding role/liliMust be 18 years or older/li/ulpWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
