W2 Pay Rate: $62-$66 DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and develop instructor-led and on-the-job training for apprenticeships in the utilities industry.
• Leverage and apply established instructional design methodologies to assess stakeholder needs, analyze complex content, and evaluate delivered training.
• Develop learning materials for technical content, including hands-on practice activities, student guides, facilitator guides, scenarios, videos, assessments, simulations, and other instructional media.
• Perform a detailed task analysis for each job function, business process, or system for which training will be developed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to conceptualize training design and content.
• Define learning objectives and course structure aligned to stakeholder needs and to meet the constraints of the learning environment.
• Work under the direction of the Senior Instructional Designer to apply company standards, guidelines, and templates.
• Write clear and effective instructional text, audio, or video scripts appropriate for the target audience.
• Participate in milestone meetings with subject matter experts, including task analysis, alpha, beta, and train-the-trainer.
• Engage with subject matter experts for ongoing content review and validation.
• Receive and incorporate feedback.
• Self-manage assigned tasks and deadlines to complete deliverables.
• Proactively communicate issues and risks.
REQUIRED
• 3+ years' experience developing technical instructor-led training and on-the-job tasks for technical skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design and methodologies.
• Proven experience performing task analysis.
• Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver against multiple competing deadlines, as needed.
Experience developing multi-year technical training programs for adult learners.
