The Senior Clinical Lab Scientist performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of technical procedures on pediatric, adult and geriatric patients in all disciplines of the Clinical Laboratory, including but not limited to: Transfusion Service, Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis and limited Microbiology. Provides technical support for problem resolution, regulatory compliance, and client issues to the Department Manager and Lead Technologist. Responsible for validity of test results, result reporting, specimen handling, and maintenance of necessary department records. Job Description:EDUCATION - Bachelors Degree in a physical, chemical or biological science from a college or university accredited by the Western Association of Schools or Colleges, or the equivalent thereof.
