Role Description - Freelance Event Manager - San Francisco

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site point of contact for events (dinners, roundtables, conferences).
• Manage event setup and breakdown in coordination with venue staff.
• Pick up printing and event materials on the day of the event.
• Ensure branding, signage, name badges, and materials are properly displayed.
• Greet, register, and support senior-level delegates, speakers, and clients.
• Keep the internal Blend team updated during the event.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly and professionally.
• Provide event recap notes and photos to the internal team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or client-facing roles.
• Professional demeanor and confidence in working with senior executives.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve in real time.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with evening events (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Nights).
