An AmLaw 50 firm is making a targeted investment in its Finance Group and is looking to add a junior to mid-level Finance Attorney to a highly differentiated, fast-growing practice.

This isn't a traditional finance role. The team operates at the intersection of venture, growth equity, and structured finance, advising venture-backed companies and top-tier funds on complex financings. The work is more creative and commercially driven than standard lender-side deals, with a focus on helping high-growth companies navigate critical inflection points.

You'll work directly with founders, sponsors, and investors on thoughtfully structured transactions across emerging sectors like AI, digital assets, and biotech. The partner leading the team is very intentional about building his group and investing in associates, offering meaningful responsibility, strong mentorship, and early client exposure.

What they're looking for:

- 2+ years of experience at an AmLaw-ranked law firm

- Experience in finance, private credit, venture debt, or related areas

- Strong drafting skills and a commercial mindset

- Interest in working on innovative, high-growth company financings

- Earned a Juris Doctor from a top-ranked law school

- Licensed to practice law in California or eligible to sit for the CA bar
