Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiation Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Position: Radiation Therapist Location: Santa Rosa, CA Shift: Day Shift (5x8 Hour, 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM) Key Responsibilities: Manage a daily caseload of approximately 25 patients. Implement external beam therapy and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) as part of treatment plans. Utilize treatment planning systems such as Pinnacle (Philips) and Eclipse (Varian) for dose calculations. Perform tumor localization and beam modification/positioning through various advanced techniques. Employ custom molds and shields in radiation therapy as needed. Maintain adherence to isolation precautions, radiation safety protocols, and age-specific competencies. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiation therapy. Required certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) ARRT (Radiation Therapy) California State License Preferred skills include familiarity with ARIA skillset and EPIC charting system. Experience with Varian 21 EX/iX equipment is mandatory. Work Environment: Type of Facility: Oncology Center Scrubs will be provided. Parking expenses will be covered by the facility. Professional Skills: Expertise in isolation precautions and PPE use. Knowledge of radiation safety protocols. Ability to manage rapid response/code teams.
