Role Description

The Business Development Manager will lead growth initiatives for our organization within the Sales Department. This strategic role is responsible for expanding market presence, developing new revenue streams, and strengthening long-term client partnerships. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in sales strategy, relationship management, and market expansion within service-based or facilities, janitorial or real estate -related industries, property management or recruiting. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive retention and repeat business
  • Lead contract negotiations and oversee proposal development to secure new accounts and partnerships
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to support lead generation, branding, and targeted growth campaigns
  • Utilize CRM tools such as Pipedrive, Aircall and Leadsourcing to manage pipelines, track performance, and analyze sales data
  • Manage outbound SEO, sales outreach (telemarketing), Marketing teams

Manage and coordinate with marketing team for creation of promotional materials and content

  • Coordinate with operations and leadership teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of services
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and clients needs to proactively adjust growth strategies

Participate in Leadership meetings and trainings

  • Prepare executive-level reports, forecasts, and presentations to support strategic decision-making
  • Participate and lead Sales Presentations to prospective clients
  • Participate in client QBR's
  • Participate in monthly meetings

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven success in business development, sales leadership, or related roles, preferably within facilities management or service industries
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems and/or willingness to learn new systems quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic growth plans
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
  • Effective project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Solid understanding of customer relationship management best practices
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies that support business growth and brand positioning
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Analytical, customer-focused mindset with the ability to drive measurable results and KPI's
  • Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Spanish is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to drive to client accounts in Bay Area, Monterey and Sacramento area
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize effectively, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in communicating effectively with clients and resolving concerns or complaints
  • Ability to work in-office in Santa Clara, CA and occasionally other regional offices

Education

Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience required (+6 years in Sales Manager capacity) ยท

Salary & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $78,000-$90,000
  • Commission for each new account opened
