About the Role

The role involves managing projects from initiation through close-out, ensuring adherence to project scope, objectives, and deadlines while providing support to various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from initiation through close-out, including any or all of the following:
  • Actively gain full understanding of contracted project scope, objectives, deliverables and deadlines
  • Monitor the project on a regular basis to ensure adherence to scope and fee; coordinate additional services with marketing department as needed
  • Facilitate all equipment-related meetings required to support the project
  • Establish and maintain the medical equipment list and budget
  • Specify equipment and develop technical data sheet reports
  • Lead mock-up support efforts, as required
  • Address and resolve project issues in a timely manner
  • Lead value engineering process as needed to support financial goals of a project
  • Develop and maintain project reports
  • Provide project-related coordination including design team, engineering, internal and vendor coordination activities
  • When applicable, lead the existing equipment evaluation process, including conducting surveys, making recommendations based on finding to the Owner and incorporating re-use equipment into the overall list and budget
  • When applicable, work with BIM team to coordinate the development of equipment placement drawings in Revit
  • When applicable, facilitate equipment procurement activities, including developing a procurement schedule, soliciting and analyzing vendor quotes, issuing bids, making recommendations, reviewing requisitions, inputting purchase orders, and other activities that may be contracted as part of procurement assistance services
  • When applicable, facilitate delivery and installation activities, including coordinating the move schedule with vendors, warehouse management, developing and maintaining the equipment delivery schedule, turnover of manuals, and other activities that may be contracted as part of delivery and installation activities
  • Provide internal support and champion professional growth:
  • Provide information to the finance department in support of accurate billing
  • Maintain and further develop client relationships
  • Attend industry/networking events
  • Take an active approach to stay informed on current and future products and technology
  • Provide technical support to project teams
  • Provide support to the marketing department in development of cost proposals, presentations, and other marketing efforts, as necessary
  • Lead and mentor junior team members
