Salary Range: $73,160 - $90,000
The incumbent shall provide expertise in pursuit of furthering technology insertion initiatives in a tactically relevant environment with the ultimate objective of delivering accredited capabilities to the warfighter.
The incumbent will be required to conduct requirements analysis, contribute to design reviews, develop and execute system evaluation procedures for laboratory/integration events, characterize/document anomalies, troubleshoot/verify system and subsystem anomalies, and document integration activities throughout the lifecycle of the product in a Science and Technology (S&T) environment. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
High school diploma with 12 plus years of relevant experience. Associates/trade school with 10 plus years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 5 years prior military or government/military contractor experience with tactical communications systems.
Basic understanding of encryption management and RF transmission principles.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information level clearance for continued employment.
Five years' hands-on experience with relevant tactical communications systems.
Experience with tactical communication systems and secure communications networks, including loading, initializing, and configuring communications software.
Experience in installing and troubleshooting aviation subsystems.
Working knowledge of DoW guidelines for encryption.
Previous experience with DoW command control and communication systems.
Excellent problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively (written/oral).
