A company is looking for a VP of Underwriting (Non-Agency).Key ResponsibilitiesUnderwrite conventional and government loans while maintaining service level agreementsProvide guidance and solutions for complex underwriting scenarios and escalationsManage a team of underwriters and assist in special projects as directed by managementRequired QualificationsDirect Endorsement status from HUD and/or SAR authority from VA, with USDA experience preferred5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting Experience (FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional) with agency guideline knowledge preferred3+ years of Underwriting management experience preferredBachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredWorking knowledge of ATR/QM requirements and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
