About the Role

A fast-growing enterprise AI startup is hiring software engineers to take full ownership of building and shipping best-in-class AI agents used by large-scale production customers.

This team operates with high autonomy and a very high engineering bar. Engineers own their work end-to-end, from initial implementation through iteration at scale. You will work directly with leaders across industries such as finance, healthcare, and hospitality, solving complex, real-world user problems with reliable and intuitive AI systems.

This is an opportunity to work at the frontier of applied AI, combining strong engineering fundamentals with experimentation across modern text and voice models, all deployed in enterprise environments serving millions of users.

What You'll Do

• Design and build AI agents that outperform human agents across complex customer interactions
• Own systems end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to deployment and iteration
• Experiment with and evaluate state-of-the-art text and voice models, then integrate them at scale
• Identify patterns across customer use cases to guide platform and product evolution
• Solve deep systems and scalability challenges in production environments
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high-impact AI solutions

Who You Are

• 2 to 8 years of experience in backend or full-stack software engineering at a high-bar tech company, HFT firm, or hyper-growth startup.
• Comfortable owning complex systems.
• Enjoy end-to-end responsibility
• Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and take pride in shipping high-quality work.
• Location - Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco or NYC. This is a fully in-office role.
