Job Description
Title: Histology / Anatomical Pathology Technologist

Schedule: Saturday to Thursday

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of laboratory/histology experience required
- Grossing experience required
- Hospital (clinical) experience required
- ASCP-HT certification preferred
- Associate's Degree in Science required
- Familiarity with hospital AP specimen workflows and artifact identification
- Charting system experience with Epic preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform grossing and specimen handling
- Conduct embedding and paraffin processing
- Execute microtomy for paraffin and frozen sections
- Prepare routine H&E and special stains, including automated and manual IHC
- Assist in frozen section preparation and slide mounting
- Prepare cytology specimens using ThinPrep, cell block, and cytospin methods

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation is 40 hours
- Willingness to work during 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Dress code includes scrubs or business casual attire
- Must provide SSN, DOB, and any requested time off at the time of submission
- A valid state license is preferred, but pending licenses will be accepted
