Description:
The position requires a histology technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience, specifically in grossing and hospital settings.
The candidate must have strong expertise in various histology techniques including embedding, microtomy, and staining.
Experience with automated immunohistochemistry and special stains is essential.
Knowledge of preparing thin prep, cell block, and cytospin for gynecological specimens is required.
All candidates must have experience working with routine hospital anatomical pathology specimens.
Flexibility to float between facilities may be necessary.
Weekend shifts may be required.
The candidate must be willing to work during major holidays.
References covering a year of employment in a comparable specialty are mandatory.
