Propulsion Test Engineer - San Francisco

Overview

We're looking for an experienced engineer to take full ownership of cutting-edge high-pressure fluid and gas systems. You'll operate within a fast-paced, extreme-autonomy environment, with hands-on responsibility for novel hardware and systems-level engineering.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute testing of high-pressure gas and fluid systems.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot pressurized test setups.
• Support design and assembly of test hardware and fluid systems.
• Integrate sensors, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Perform test runs, collect and analyze data.
• Maintain test procedures, logs, and safety documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in test, lab, or hardware-focused engineering roles.
• Experience with pressurized gas or fluid systems.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and data acquisition tools.
• Exposure to safety-critical environments is a plus.
