Warehouse (Commissary) Delivery Driver or Associate

The Bohemian Grove is situated on 2,700 acres of towering redwood forest in the lower Russian River Valley in Sonoma County. For more than 150 years Club members and their guests have ventured to the Grove to enjoy and partake in the arts, music, literature and drama as well as nature walks and fine dining.

Spring Jinks: Monday, June 8 thru June 14th, 2026

Summer Encampment: Monday July 6th thru July 31*, 2026

The Warehouse (Commissary) Delivery Driver or Associate is responsible for providing excellent delivery service for our membership. The delivery driver plays an important role in ensuring the timely delivery of purchased goods. They deliver products like food, equipment, mail, appliances, furniture, packages and envelopes, beer kegs, and ice. Delivery drivers are expected to be team-oriented, have a positive attitude, and have a sense of urgency when delivering goods to our membership.

Duties:

• Observing speed limits and obeying all road signs
• Performing simple vehicle maintenance (i.e. cleaning interior and exterior, refueling, filling tires with air, etc.)
• Loading and unload delivery goods
• Informing supervisor of any vehicle problems
• Driving to and from delivery destinations
• Interacting with customers to obtain payment and giving receipts
• Heavy lifting of packages and other equipment
• Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the commissary building and surrounding grounds
• Restock shelves as needed in the commissary
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older (Drivers only)
• Acknowledge any member within 10 feet with a smile and greeting (How are you today? Hello. Etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds up/downstairs up to four hours per day.
• Must be willing to stand, walk, lift, and carry items on uneven ground and pavement during entire shift
• Smile
• Have a positive attitude
• Show up in the proper uniform (khaki slacks, clean comfortable shoes, white t-shirt)
• Stay attentive to the task being performed at all times
• Be a team player
• Be able to read, write and understand English
• Employees must work in a safe manner when lifting and dealing with heavy objects (kegs, cases of wine, cases of water, cases of produce, etc)
• Ability to listen effectively and take direction

All minors under 18 years of age employed in the state of California must have a permit to work. Prior to permitting a minor to work, employers must possess a valid Permit to Employ and Work.

*California workers must receive the following breaks:

• An uninterrupted 30-minute unpaid meal break when working more than five (5+) hours in a day.
• An additional 30-minute unpaid meal break when working more than 12 hours in a day.
• A paid 10-minute rest period for every four hours worked.
