Summer Encampment At The Bohemian Grove

The Bohemian Grove is situated on 2,700 acres of towering redwood forest in the lower Russian River Valley in Sonoma County. For more than 150 years club members and their guests have ventured to the grove to enjoy and partake in the arts, music, literature and drama as well as nature walks and fine dining.

Come spend the summer working in this unique and beautiful environment. We offer flexible schedules and excellent hourly wages for a summer only commitment.

Spring Jinks:

Monday, June 8 thru June 14th, 2026

Summer Encampment:

Monday July 6th thru July 31*, 2026

This Is A Non-Driving Position

General

Baggage handlers are responsible for delivering all member and guest baggage safely and efficiently to various destinations throughout the campground. In this position you will interface with members and guests upon arrival and departure, assist with unloading, loading and delivery of luggage and perishables items.

A successful candidate possesses good organizational and communication skills as well as a friendly professional demeanor.

Uniform

Clean pants with a belt

Clean and wrinkle free staff shirt

Clean shaven

Staff hat, if desired

Clean, comfortable tennis shoes

No facial jewelry is allowed, including tongue piercing.

A light jacket will be available. You may wear your own sweatshirt/jacket or other outerwear under the provided windbreaker. Sweatshirts with hoods are fine as long as you do not wear the hooded portion.

Other Duties Or Requirements

Able to lift 40 pounds or more on a regular basis individually and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

At least 15 years of age or older.

Successfully complete a background investigation and adhere to the Bohemian Club Drug Policy.
