Description:

GENERAL PURPOSE: As a Customer Service Associate, your main responsibility is to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. You will greet customers warmly, maintain a clean and organized work area, and help with merchandise presentation while collaborating with your team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, ensuring a secure shopping environment by maintaining clear exits and reporting unsafe conditions to management.
  • Exhibit respect and professionalism towards customers and colleagues, always aiming to create a friendly atmosphere.
  • Assist customers with their needs by providing thorough product assistance, answering questions, and ensuring timely service at the register.
  • Demonstrate promptness in responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues with a helpful and courteous demeanor.
  • Support our brand image through positive representation in all customer interactions.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting high-touch areas to keep the store welcoming and hygienic.
  • Adhere to the company's dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Regularly organize the sales floor according to best practices to maintain a neat and attractive environment for our customers.
  • Efficiently stock newly received merchandise on the sales floor according to company guidelines, ensuring product familiarity.
  • Understand loss prevention measures and protect company assets by following identified security protocols.
  • Follow all cash handling procedures accurately to ensure financial integrity.
  • Work efficiently to maximize productivity and ensure effective execution of all tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations common in retail settings.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Capability to use store equipment such as registers and computers as needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
  • Regular bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, carrying, reaching, and stooping required.
  • Occasional lifting of items over 25 pounds may be necessary.
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment, racks, ladders, and other tools as assigned.
  • Specific positions, such as Stockroom shifts, may require lifting over 20 pounds frequently.
