Pharmacists are needed to provide per diem support throughout the Bay Area and Northern California. This opportunity allows pharmacists to work flexible shifts in dynamic retail settings, supporting multiple locations with a focus on excellent patient care and pharmacy operations.
Location: Santa Rosa, CA, with travel throughout the greater Bay Area/NorCal.
Job Type: Per diem, with coverage typically requested 1-2 shifts per week. Candidates must be willing to commute within the area.
Responsibilities:
- Manage pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians
- Provide accurate and timely dispensing of medications
- Utilize pharmacy software systems such as McKesson's Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and client policies
- Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Experience with pharmacy opening/closing and technician oversight
- Comfortable traveling to various pharmacy sites, with mileage reimbursement for commutes over 30 miles one-way
- Ability to adapt to per diem schedule demands
- Currently working part-time or seeking additional shifts is ideal
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Mileage reimbursement for long-distance travel
