Job Description
  • Project Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure effective communication between stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Resource Management: Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the project. Manage and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction activities meet or exceed the required quality standards and comply with relevant safety regulations and building codes.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to the project and implement strategies to mitigate them. Address issues as they arise to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Budget & Cost Management: Monitor project expenditures, track costs, and ensure the project stays within the approved budget.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and direct project staff, subcontractors, and laborers. Provide guidance and resolve conflicts to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project's life cycle.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project activities, progress reports, and financial documentation.

The Successful Applicant
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management software, and budgeting techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and building codes.
  • Relevant educational qualifications (e.g., a degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture) and industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are often preferred.
