Human Resources Information System Analyst

2026-03-02     Nortia Staffing - Human Resources, Accounting and Administrative Staffing     Santa Rosa,CA
Description:

Now Hiring: HRIS Consultant with Paylocity expertise!!

(Temporary Engagement – Paylocity Required)

No C2C or 1099 please! No outside recruiters our 3rd party vendors!

We're currently partnering with a client who is conducting a focused review of how they leverage their HRIS system, Paylocity, particularly across payroll and benefits. Through that assessment, an opportunity was identified to better document, streamline, and standardize current processes.

To support this effort, we're helping them identify an experienced HRIS consultant for a short-term engagement.

Important: Hands-on Paylocity experience is required. This role will work directly within the system, so candidates should have strong familiarity with Paylocity payroll and benefits functionality — including reporting, workflow configuration, and system best practices.

What this consultant will do:

  • Document existing payroll and benefits workflows within Paylocity
  • Identify opportunities to refine and standardize processes
  • Recommend efficiency improvements aligned with system capabilities
  • Develop a clear, user-friendly reference manual for ongoing use
  • Partner closely with the organization's primary system users

Engagement Details:

  • 15–20 hours per week
  • Approximately 6 weeks (flexible based on scope)
  • Target start: Within the next few weeks
  • Pay is up to $60/hr and this is a 100% remote role! (must be located somewhere in the State of California)

This is an ideal opportunity for a Paylocity-savvy HRIS professional who enjoys process optimization, documentation, and creating structure that drives long-term efficiency.

If you or someone in your network has direct Paylocity experience and would be a strong fit, I'd welcome the conversation.
