Janitorial Crew Leader

Description:

We are seeking a versatile Janitorial Crew Leader for a unique "player-coach" hybrid position. This role is designed for a leader who excels in both operational management and hands-on service. Your focus will be split as a crew leader managing operations and client accounts, and delivering high-standard cleaning services alongside the team at our Santa Rosa Yard and Petaluma Yard.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Leadership

  • Client Relations: Directly manage client contact, maintain existing accounts, and perform regular follow-ups to ensure service excellence and retention.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee janitorial teams across various facilities, maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, safety, and productivity.
  • Operations & Scheduling: Utilize the Aspire system for project scheduling and ensuring all service tickets are closed promptly.
  • Strategic Reporting: Report directly to the General Manager (GM) and CEO, contributing to performance evaluations and strategic operational discussions.

Direct Service & Maintenance
  • Core Cleaning: Execute professional maintenance including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and buffing floors.
  • Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked and meet sanitary standards.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling from designated areas and transport waste to disposal points.
  • Detailing: Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, and mirrors to maintain a perfect property appearance.
  • Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow all California-mandated safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe chemical handling.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: At least 3 years in janitorial or facilities management with proven expertise in team supervision.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with scheduling tools, particularly the Aspire system is a plus
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further training in facility management is advantageous.
  • Communication: Effective oral and written communication skills for professional interaction with clients, teams, and executives in both english and spanish
  • Requirements:
    • Valid Driver's License (Required).
    • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
    • Bilingual a plus

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly Wage: $22-26 per hour.
