Starting Salary at $27.70/hour - Parks and Grounds Maintenance Workers are an essential part of maintaining Sonoma County. These positions work at locations across the County, maintaining parks, bike trails, open spaces and other landscaped areas. Locations include Spring Lake, Sonoma Valley, Central Area, Coastal (Bodega Bay, Gualala - Stillwater), and Russian River park areas. As a Parks and Grounds Maintenance Worker I, you will:Perform landscaping work such as pruning, mowing, irrigation repair, weeding, planting, and spreading mulch. Maintain landscaping and grounds keeping. Service, maintain, and operate landscaping power equipment and irrigation systems. Maintain Park signage, buildings, equipment, gardens, and grounds. Assist with construction and repairs throughout various parks and marinas within Sonoma County.
