Four Seasons - - Responsibilities: Communicate any instances where paperwork is at variance with Internal Controls to the Accounting Manager and/or Assistant Director of Finance.; Assist in covering guest inquiries to the Accounting Department, including folio requests from guests and credit card inquiries.; Understand tax laws related to sales tax, use tax, goods and services tax and year end processing ensuring compliance, submission and payment deadlines are met and ensure that all deductions and exemptions are properly documented.; Review NEW invoices and on hold "pending hotel action" field in Birchstreet; Review journal entries for accruals of invoices received after closing and for goods/services received but not yet invoiced.
