Guest Service Cashier Summary:

As a Guest Service Cashier, you will be the welcoming face that greets our guests. Your primary role is to provide excellent service with a friendly attitude, taking orders and ensuring efficient transactions, whether at the drive-thru or at the counter.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Adhere to company policies regarding food safety and hygiene.
• Warmly greet guests and accurately take their orders. Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
• Manage cash transactions securely, providing correct change and maintaining accountability for cash drawer, including counting the register at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Work efficiently to meet or surpass company service time standards across various service formats, including walk-in, mobile orders, and drive-thru.
• Regularly clean and sanitize the workspace to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate and assist fellow team members, including supporting in roles such as expediter and service assistant.
• Play a role in training new cashiers to ensure they deliver top-notch service.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors, demonstrating flexibility in your role.
• Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak hours.
• High mobility required for reaching, bending, scrubbing, wiping, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.

Qualification Standards:

• A valid CA food handler card is required.
• Strong communication skills in English are a must; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
• No prior experience is needed, but guest service experience is preferred.
• No formal education is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be observant and use good judgment to ensure food quality before presenting it to guests.
