JOB TITLE: Floor Supervisor II

STATUS: Full-time, Permanent

FLSA: Exempt

REPORTS TO: Table Games Shift Supervisor

SUPERVISES: Table Games Staff on shift

WORKING HOURS: This is a salaried exempt position. The incumbent is expected to work the necessary hours to meet the needs of a 24 hour establishment. This position rotates shifts annually.

SUMMARY: Responsible for monitoring table games, dealers and all non-departmental personnel coming in contact with the Table Games department. Responsible for supervising, monitoring and controlling the table games operation and its team members. Ensures the operation and services according to casino pol-icies to maximize casino profits and protect casino assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensures team member and guest conduct is always in compliance with River Rock Casino's policies and procedures, as well as, all relevant State/Tribal regulations.

2. Responsible for detecting and taking action against cheating, fraud and other disruptions as company policy dictates.

3. Maintains high visual presence in the Table Games pit area.

4. Resolves all disputes.

5. Renders impartial decisions.

6. Maintains current knowledge of all excluded guests and former team members.

7. Responsible for daily communication with departmental team members. Keeping all team members and guests updated on all promotions and special events.

8. Provides leadership to all team members.

9. Responsible for keeping all team members up to date on all Dealing Procedures, Policies and Pro-cedures and all Compliance issues.

10. Ensures all irregular incidents are thoroughly researched and documented in compliance with time frames and formats outlined in department procedures and or company policy.

11. Responsible for passing all team member information, dissatisfied decisions, recent exclusions, deviations from standard procedures and all daily business in Pit Log Book.

12. Adheres to all policies regarding credit lines.

13. Raises or Lowers Limits to suit casino needs.

14. Distributes comps to qualified guest(s).

15. Establishes and reviews schedules with Manager of Table Games to ensure proper floor coverage.

16. Ensures all new department hires receive orientation/training specific to Table Games.

17. Verifies that all information received follows Casino policies and procedures; properly approved and coded, and supported by all necessary documentation.

18. Maintains awareness for discrepancies or suspicious circumstances; investigates and prepares required reports on the findings;

19. Ensures the safe guard of assets and all internal controls and operating procedures are followed.

20. Serves as key member of the River Rock Executive Team.

21. Commits to the Team R.O.C.K. Philosophy.

22. Commits to the Team R.O.C.K. "Leadership Pledge" and "Core Leadership Qualities".

23. Acts as a role model and always present oneself as a credit to River Rock Casino and encourages others to do the same.

24. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, department and company policies and procedures.

25. Attends all required meetings and training.

26. Maintains confidentiality at all times.

27. Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, termination, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, reward and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

1. Minimum five (5) years' experience in Table Games required.

2. Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience in Table Games is required.

3. Strong computer skills required, at an intermediate level (MS Excel, Word and Outlook).

4. Must have extensive knowledge of River Rock Casino games, casino rules, procedures and regulations pertaining to casino operations are required.

5. Must be capable of setting schedules and working independently.

6. Must be able to work harmoniously with all others.

7. Must have excellent customer service skills.

8. Must present a cheerful and friendly personality and a well groomed appearance at all times.

9. Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality with respect to all matters pertaining to the gaming enterprise business.

EDUCATION:

1. High school diploma, equivalent (GED) or foreign education equivalent

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

1. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

2. Excellent oral and written communication skills are important to the successful conduct of this position.

3. Ability to write accurate, grammatically correct, polished reports and business correspondence.

4. Must be able to speak with the public in a professional manner.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

1. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

REASONING ABILITY:

1. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

2. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

3. Ability to apply regulatory and procedure doctrine, concepts and policy to practical situations.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:

1. Must be able to obtain a Class A gaming license from the Dry Creek Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.

2. Must be able to lift and carry up to twenty five (25) pounds.

3. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
