Overview of Position:

The Customer Service Cashier is dedicated to delivering friendly and efficient service to all Krispy Kreme patrons, maintaining a clean and professional store appearance while ensuring complete customer satisfaction and upholding the high standards of Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous and helpful service to customers.
• Accurately process and complete customer orders.
• Engage in suggestive selling techniques with a polite approach.
• Handle payment transactions and ensure correct change is given.
• Inspect products for quality according to Krispy Kreme standards.
• Prepare necessary ingredients for doughnut processing according to established recipes.
• Restock products to maintain freshness.
• Assist in unloading delivery trucks.
• Adhere to procedures and company standards as outlined in the training materials.
• Answer phone calls promptly and follow greeting procedures.
• Offer product samples to customers when approved by management.
• Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Sanitation Duties: Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing tasks such as:

• Sweeping and mopping required areas.
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Restocking and sanitizing tables and chairs in the customer area.
• Emptying trash receptacles inside and outside the store.
• Keeping the parking lot and surrounding areas clean.
• Washing windows.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Basic literacy skills.
• Must pass drug screening and criminal background check.

Nonessential Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical demands required to perform the essential functions of this role may include:

• Carrying and lifting items.
• Writing, bending, walking, and stooping.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Performing sanitation tasks including mopping and sweeping.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
• Using cleaning materials and equipment.
• Reaching the counter or drive-through as necessary.
• Grasping products without damaging them.
• Reading product boxes, labels, and measuring devices.
• Clearly communicating with and understanding customers and coworkers.

Working Conditions:

• Working indoors in a controlled environment.
• Exposure to production areas that may reach high temperatures.
• Working in a noisy environment, requiring shouting to communicate.
