About Homies:

Homies helps people with intellectual disabilities live independently with supportive roommates throughout Southern California. We're California's first shared-living program for adults with disabilities.

About the Role:

You won't manage cases, you'll own experiences. Know your people deeply, catch problems early, and resolve what you can so they can thrive.

Most days are the good stuff: celebrating wins, hearing about someone's week, noticing growth. But when something's off, you handle it, and you're energized by that, not drained.

What You'll Do:

• Be accountable for match success, keep quality outcomes high, catch problems before they escalate
• Serve as primary contact for Homies, families, Supportive Roommates, and Service Coordinators, not just the relationship, but the glue holding everyone together
• Conduct regular check-ins and know what's really going on in each home
• Resolve people problems directly: roommate friction, family concerns, communication gaps
• Review daily data, track progress, keep documentation current
• Mitigate risk through pattern recognition and proactive intervention

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years in case management, social work, or direct support for individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Bachelor's degree
• Regional Center experience
• Relationship instincts and emotional resilience, you build trust naturally and stay steady under pressure
• Mission alignment, you genuinely care about choice, dignity, and independence

Nice to Have:

• Supported Living Services (SLS) / Independent Living Services (ILS) experience
• Bilingual Spanish
