the girl & the fig in Sonoma is currently seeking an experienced Busser to join our team.

We are a restaurant group with multiple locations in the Sonoma Valley, which includes the girl & the fig in Sonoma, Poppy in Glen Ellen, the girl & the fig CATERS!, Suite D, and our FIGfood product line. We strive to use the best in local, sustainable food, and we continually develop many in-house programs to promote those ideals. Bussers maintain the cleanliness of the dining and service areas of the restaurant as well as set and clear tables in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner. Teamwork with other service staff and Dishwashers is critical for the success of this position.

How you'll spend your day...

• Share our passion for food, wine and hospitality with each individual who walks through our doors
• Set up dining room for service, clearing and setting tables, and assisting other service staff
• Serve water to guests and keep water glasses above half full
• Assist in restocking flatware and glassware to service areas
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Ensure a positive guest experience

This job requires...

• Ability to provide or complete CA Food Handler Certification
• General restaurant knowledge
• Ability to work schedule and arrive on time
• Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out simple instructions

Physical demands...

• Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time

• Hourly wage for this position is $18.47 + gratuities.
